Use Foleygate to surpress the Fundie vote

Well, Mark Foley has given us a wonderful gift.  Now, the key is to milk it for all its worth.  To do that, all we need to is think, what would Rove do?  If Karl Rove were sitting in our shoes, I don't think he'd be worrying about trying to get the story all over the MSM (although that would be a very good thing).  He'd be trying to hit the GOP where it really hurts.
Let's review the state of play.  90% of the competitive seats are Republican.  We're clear favorites in around eight seats.  Another fifteen to twenty seats are tossups.  And, we're very competitive in lots of seats beyond that.  We're up around eleven points in the generic polls.  In other words, things look awfully good.  The only reason that we're not heavily favored to take the House is turnout/GOTV.  Rove played the terror card and he's gotten nothing out of it.  He's started to take negative campaigning to new levels.  Again, nothing to show for it.  None of the polls outside of Bush approval are moving toward the GOP ... not the generic congressional, not individual Senate races, not individual House races.  They've only got one card left and its turnout/GOTV.  And, what is the heart and soul of the GOP GOTV machine?  The fundies, of course.

So, what would Rove do if he were in ours shoes?  He would be printing up tens of millions of flyers and posting them in every heavily fundie precinct that's in a competitive House race.  They would say:

ARE GOP LEADERS HYPOCRITES WHEN IT COMES TO HOMOSEXUALITY?
WHY DID THEY TRY TO PROTECT A HOMOSEXUAL CONGRESSMAN WHO WAS PREYING ON SIXTEEN YEAR OLD HOUSE PAGES?

Under that a picture of Foley together with some quotes from local newspapers.  Then ...

IS _______ [e.g. MARILYN MUSGRAVE) A HYPOCRITE ON HOMOSEXUALITY?  WHY ISN'T ______ (e.g., MARILYN MUSGRAVE) CONDEMNING DENNY HASTERT AND OTHER GOP LEADERS WHO KNEW ABOUT MARK FOLEY'S HOMOEROTIC EMAILS TO SIXTEEN YEAR OLDS FOR ELEVEN MONTHS AND DID NOTHING?

I am dead serious.  This is a no-brainer way to dramatically tip the scales toward a Dem takeover in the House.  Please let's take a page out of the GOP playbook.  Use Foleygate to surpress the fundie vote.
